Queen Mary

It’s that time of year again. The weather is beautiful, people are happier, and the Queen Mary is awaiting your arrival. When it comes down to it, life is about experiences, and memorable experiences tend to take place outside of the home. There are many options in Los Angeles to create memories, and special events at Queen Mary would definitely be on that list.

There will be Movie Nights throughout the summer: June 20th, July 11th, and August 22nd. The movies being shown change depending on the event, but you might see Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, Grease, Beetlejuice, or Edward Scissorhands. If you would rather have a more interactive experience, then you can visit the Queen Mary when it hosts The Dinner Detective on June 22nd. And if you would rather sit back and enjoy the entertainment, there is a Royal Sunday Brunch with live music and entertainment, champagne, and more on June 23rd.

An even bigger event is July 4th, when there will be an extraordinary fireworks show. According to LA Weekly, it’s “One of the Top 5 fireworks shows in L.A.” This is one of the most exciting and entertaining Queen Mary events throughout the year. Whether traveling solo or with others, you can look into Long Beach shuttles to get there. Queen Mary transportation is available with Xpress Shuttles. What could be better than arriving in a private car to the Queen Mary on July 4th?

July 13th will be Rock the Queen, where there will be tributes to English bands, including Queen, The Beatles, The Who, The Smiths, and The Cure. These might not be the real acts, but you would be hard-pressed to find a show that includes the music of those bands all in the same place and on the same night.

On September 20th, there will be Doggie Paradise, which will include workshops, photo ops, and more. On the last weekend of the summer, the Queen Mary will host Night Market, which will include dozens of food trucks, art, vendors, and a live DJ. The Queen Mary always closes out the summer with the bang. This is an event you will want to attend whether or not you attended previous events.

If you plan on staying at the Queen Mary Hotel, you will find 347 staterooms suites as well as a spa and fitness room. If you want to save money, it’s highly recommended that you look into packages and specials at the Queen Mary Hotel. Hotel shuttles are also available from LAX and Long Beach Airport with Xpress. Or book a cruise transfer in Long Beach!

Regardless of what Queen Mary Event you choose to attend, the easiest way to get there is via Long Beach shuttles. This is a seamless process and a very affordable mode of transportation.
