Los Angeles is sunny all year round, but as the summer is approaching, there are more and more events and gatherings around the city. With so much to do, it’s enough to make anyone’s head spin. We’ve pulled together a few of the best evenings out LA has to offer.
If you’ve been to LA before, possibly you’ve heard about the famous Rooftop Cinema Club nights. For the fourth year in a row, Rooftop Cinema Club is hosting rooftop screenings throughout Downtown L.A. They provide lawn chairs, blankets, and wireless headphones, so all you need to worry about is getting there on time. Check their site for schedule, more information, or how to buy tickets.
The Skirball Cultural Center on Los Angeles’ Westside is one of the city’s lesser-known cultural institutions, but it has some really great events and exhibits. From June until September, The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited is opening, celebrating Henson’s legacy including everything from Sesame Street to Fraggle Rock and The Muppets.
A more elegant night on the town is Last Remaining Seats, a series of live entertainment and film screenings hosted by the L.A. Conservancy in Downtown’s many old grand movie palaces. This series lasts all throughout June, and make sure to check the schedule and reserve your tickets soon.
Enjoy early summer in LA, and as always don’t forget to leave the stress of transportation to us. Xpress has the fleet to suit parties of all sizes comfortably.
