Private car service driver helping a family with luggage at San Bernardino International Airport (SBD)

San Bernardino Private Car Service for SBD

San Bernardino International Airport sits on the grounds of the former Norton Air Force Base, on the east side of San Bernardino near Highland, Redlands, and Loma Linda. Its compact terminal and short walk to the curb make it a refreshingly simple place to fly.

Step outside and your driver is there to load the bags. From there, it’s a private, non-stop trip for your group, with no hotel vans or shared airport shuttles involved. Xpress Shuttles is a two-generation family business, and our drivers are company-trained.

Headed Up the Mountain?

SBD is a natural starting point for trips to Big Bear Lake, Lake Arrowhead, and Running Springs. Skip the rental car and let us handle the drive up the hill while you enjoy the views. Tell us your cabin or resort address and we’ll take it from there.

San Bernardino Airport (SBD) FAQs

What airport do you fly into for San Bernardino?

You have two main choices. San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) is the closest, but it currently has limited service from one airline, Breeze Airways. Most travelers fly into Ontario International Airport (ONT), about 25 miles west, which has far more airlines and nonstop routes. Xpress Shuttles provides private rides to San Bernardino from both airports.

What airlines fly into San Bernardino International Airport?

As of 2026, Breeze Airways is the only passenger airline at San Bernardino International Airport, with nonstop flights to San Francisco (SFO) and Provo, Utah (PVU). Flight days change by season, so check Breeze’s schedule before you book. For other airlines, Inland Empire travelers usually use Ontario International Airport.

Does Southwest fly to San Bernardino?

No. Southwest Airlines doesn’t serve San Bernardino International Airport. Southwest is the largest airline at Ontario International Airport (ONT), about 25 miles west of SBD, which is the closest Southwest airport for most San Bernardino travelers. Xpress Shuttles offers private, flat-rate rides between Ontario Airport and anywhere in San Bernardino County.

Does San Bernardino Airport have international flights?

Not at the moment. Despite its name, San Bernardino International Airport’s only scheduled passenger flights are Breeze Airways’ domestic routes to San Francisco and Provo. For international travel, most Inland Empire travelers fly from LAX or from Ontario International Airport, which offers some international service. We drive to both. See our LAX transportation.

How much is parking at San Bernardino Airport?

San Bernardino International Airport advertises low-cost parking, with hundreds of spaces close to the terminal for about $5 per day and online reservations available. Rates can change, so confirm on the airport’s website. If you’d rather not leave a car at all, a private Xpress Shuttles ride gets you to and from SBD with no parking needed.

How far is San Bernardino Airport from Big Bear Lake and Palm Springs?

Big Bear Lake is roughly 35 to 40 miles from San Bernardino International Airport, mostly on winding mountain highway, so plan on an hour or more. Palm Springs is about 50 miles east on Interstate 10. Xpress Shuttles provides private, non-stop rides from SBD to both, with room for ski gear, golf clubs, and luggage.

How far is San Bernardino Airport from Disneyland?

The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim is roughly 45 to 55 miles from San Bernardino International Airport by car, depending on your route and traffic. Xpress Shuttles offers private rides from SBD to Disneyland-area hotels, with space for strollers and luggage. Larger groups can book vans for up to 14, minibuses for up to 28, or coaches for up to 52.

Can I get a ride from San Bernardino Airport to LAX or Ontario Airport?

Yes. Xpress Shuttles provides private transfers from San Bernardino International Airport to Ontario International Airport, about 25 miles west, and to LAX, roughly 65 to 70 miles away. We run 24/7 and track your flights. Book online and save 7% with code Online7, or call 1-866-381-4510.
